We've got good news: we're under contract to build a new home! We will be moving into the Grove neighborhood in Edmond; the house is set to be finished at the end of November. We're beside ourselves with excitement!
And now we come down a level. Tonight was the first night of our final home improvement push. We've got to get this house on the market! What was on the agenda? I was painting the laundry room and Derek was sanding the walls of the master bath. We're planning six weeks of hard labor. It freaks Derek out, but I'm calm, cool and collected. Let's face it - I thrive under deadlines.
In other good news, I was given a blog award. Yay!
OK, I'm supposed to forward to a lot of people, but it is late and I'm horrible at blog etiquette. But, I will do two things:
Please welcome Two Makes Four to my blog roll to the right. This is a hilarious blog chronicling life with twins - it's fresh, funny and honest. You've got to check out the Althea. Seriously. post.
I've also added Re-Ramblings. Read it, you won't regret it.
Here she is, all shiny and new.
Didn't know I could get an action shot, did you?
According to the salesperson, this washer can disintegrate an entire carrot cake. I thought that was a weird visual as well. Plus, isn't cake easy to dissolve? I would have used pot roast or something. THAT would be an accomplishment.
And your before pic, slimy leftover Eggo waffle.
