I knew there would come a day when partying all night long would morph in to working all night long. It stinks. I've got a huge freelance story due tomorrow, actually today since its 2 am, and I've encountered a bout of writer's block. I'm not sure if sleeping would help, or just pushing through until the work is done.
I can hear Derek snoring from the living room... he fell asleep on the couch waiting for me to finish working! Since he's in dreamland, I'll post a picture of Derek and Van taking a little siesta! Wish me luck on my story!
I also discovered I have a divine talent of finding cheap furniture! Maybe that is why I get chills every time I walk into IKEA. Our new futon was $150 off regular price. Rock on.
We also have a new addition to the family, the treadmill. Isn't she a beaut? We bought it off of craigslist a couple of weeks ago, but we haven't had space to use it. But, now it is up and running, and soon I may be running! Look out Bladcoxerson participants!

It just feels like ever since I had Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever that my brain is operating on a bit of delay. People have been emailing, calling, and asking me to do things, only to get no response from me. I apologize! I'm totally acting like a flake. Hopefully things are going to turn around!
So what have I been doing? Derek and I ate a Red Primesteak, a restaurant that I'm profiling in the next issue of Oklahoma Today. It was awesome! I've also been shopping, which is a big step after having a baby. I'm so glad to be my normal size again, even if I'm working on losing more weight. By the way, JC Penney is having a huge sale. Buy one, get one for 88 cents. I have no idea how they determined that 88 cents was the best number for the sale price. I'm sure some marketing guru was paid big bucks to make that decision.
I've been hoping to link to a great post on my trip to Neosho, Missouri, for my friend Charly's wedding. But alas, Liz hasn't downloaded the pictures from her camera!
I'm still totally obsessed with Heroes. It is the only television show I manage to watch on the night it actually airs. I heart Hiro!
And, I actually gained weight this week, .4 pounds. If you missed the decimal, it is less than a half a pound., so don't start celebrating. I'm still in this competition to win.

It has been a busy week for the family! We made a trip down to Dallas for the OU/Texas game. Unfortunately we didn't have tickets, but we did get to spend some time with Aunt Dee, Baby Isaiah, and Saltgrass Steak House. Yum!
Sorry Liz, but Saltgrass didn't sabotage my Bladcoxerson efforts. This week I am down 1.3 pounds for a total of 6.5 or 3.7% lost.
In my efforts to eat right, I have discovered some new food hits and misses that I would like to share. (I am a self-professed foodie)
Hit: Quaker Simple Harvest Multigrain Hot Cereal, Maple Brown Sugar with Pecans-Delicious! Fast, easy and it has yummy chunks of pecan for only 3 points.
Miss: 100 calorie Twix Bar-Such a disappointing purchase. It is just a FunSize Twix with a new box and an inflated price.
Miss: Honeysuckle White Sweet Italian Sausage-Low in points, but it has a weird spice that neither Derek or I liked.
And finally, I would have blogged earlier in the week when I thought my Bills were going to pull out a win and beat the Cowboys. Oh, was I so wrong. Being a Sooner fan, I forgot how much heartache my Bills give me. Oh well, go Bills!
I can't wait until Halloween. Not only is it my favorite holiday, but Granny finished Van's elephant costume. It is too cute not to share. He is pictured with his cousin Chayton, a friendly lion.
Another week with a loss. That brings the total to 5.2 pounds or 3%!
Not too bad for eating a Sonic burger and onion rings after the OU game (a whopping 26 WeightWatcher points!). I know food isn't supposed to comfort you, but my willpower was at an all-time low. Perhaps the Walk for Obesity gave me just enough exercise points to make it through the day.
Well, never in a million years would I have predicted that I would see the Edmond Sun mentioned in a report on IMDB's entertainment news. But alas, it seems actor Tyler Nelson leaked important plotlines of the upcoming Indiana Jones movie to an Edmond Sun writer. Talk about the scoop of the century. This could beat witnessing Mike Gundy's rant. IMDB reports that a spokesman for Spielberg says of Nelson, "Who knows if he's ever going to work in town again?" Poor guy, his claim to fame until now is an unnamed mascot in Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.
