I've got the fever

And the only cure is more cowbell.

Do you ever have one of those days when you don't feel well, but you talk yourself into believing you are just being a wimp. Well, I had one of those days until Derek took my temperature and I had a fever. I never had been more happy, because I had validation that I was really not feeling well.

So in my feverish stupor, I decided to check my email. And guess what? The new IKEA catalog is out! The textiles are really wild for 2008, a cross of the eighties and sixties, kind of Yellow Submarine inspired.

And, there was this picture in the IKEA catalog. Does this room remind you of anything? Yes, I am so trendy that I beat the IKEA catalog for Van's room design.

Now time to lay down...

Van is officially a day-care carrier monkey now. That's okay, with all the mold at the State, I'm sick all the time anyway. So, I'll still love on him even when you can't.

Congratulations on your prophetic sense of style.

Places like LIFE Church certainly don't appeal to everyone. Even someone like Dan Kimball probably wouldn't even be on board with all they do, he's actually pretty deep and fairly conservative. But they reach people that others don't, as your sister is apparently evidence of. Everything that everyone does is a mix of positives and negatives.

Well, I can't figure out how to just email you so I'll have to leave a comment to your interior decorating expertise post. Soooo...HI BROOK!!! Wow! I am so excited to see that you are a new mommy?!?!?! I had no idea!! You look so great with your sweet little baby boy! When was he born? I was wondering if you and Derek were going to have children soon! We are doing well. Sean and I have two girls - Bailey will be 4 on Sept. 1st and Callie is 16 1/2 months old! Time flies! I'm enjoying staying home with the girls and have gotten to the point of not enjoying running errands with 2 kids! It's too crazy!!! Ugh! But I do it anyways and life goes on. Well, I'd love to hear from you! Laura Macias laura.macias@coxinet.net
